Surface Restoration of Antique Skis

As part of a special commission, we restored the appearance of a pair of antique skis that were heavily soiled and featured rusted, corroded metal components—bringing them back to a condition close to their original state. The skis were cleaned using a dust- and chemical-free wet abrasive blasting technology, which gently removed rust, paint residues, and surface contaminants from both the wooden and metal parts.

During the process:
- We preserved the original structure and proportions of the skis.
- Rust was removed from the bindings without reducing the thickness of the metal.
- Dirt and grime were carefully eliminated from the wood, revealing the natural grain once again.

The result:
The fully cleaned skis regained their original character, transforming from a rusty, neglected condition into visually appealing, showcase-worthy pieces — a perfect example of what precise vapor blasting can achieve.
